Economic and Community Development

The City of Cabot’s Economic Development Department strives to foster a pro-growth environment that promotes local businesses. City leadership meets regularly with local companies to gain a better grasp of the business community’s activities as well as to share insight about incentives or programs designed to encourage their continued growth. By proactively addressing issues of concern, the City of Cabot demonstrates its commitment and appreciation of their investment in our community.  This business-friendly model promotes a shared vison for the future of Cabot.

This department provides many services for area businesses to assist in their efforts to do business and expand in Cabot. The City of Cabot Economic Development Department works closely with regional partners such as the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), the Cabot Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Administration (SBA), the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (AWDS), the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) and Central Arkansas Planning and Development District (CAPDD) to address the needs of businesses.
